The WNC-0500USB MIMO XRTM Wireless LAN USB Adapter improves wireless transmission over long distance and enables you to connect to wireless networks at farther distances than before. The dual built-in antenna diversity allows for high-data data transmission rates at farther distances as well as eliminating “dead-spots” within the wireless network. Higher Data Throughput This MIMO USB adapter supports higher data throughput than IEEE 802.11g, with data transmission rates of up to 54Mbps. In Turbo Mode data is compressed to decrease the waiting time to send data to a wireless access point or router. When the adapter is connecting to wireless access points or routers that support Turbo Mode, no configuration is needed since the adapter will automatically enable this feature making the wireless connection more efficient. The adapter is also backward compliable with 802.11b and 802.11g standards giving better performance when connected standard Access Points or Routers. Excellent solution for enhanced Multi-Media use With improved wireless connection, this USB wireless adapter is an excellent solution to enhance Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) and other priority data transmission that requires high-speed wireless connections to deliver real time audio and video. The QoS (Quality of Service) feature of the MIMO USB adapter defines data priorities of data traffic by specifying data categories that need priority transfers to provide enhanced multimedia and voice support. Security The WNC-0500USB MIMO XRTM Wireless LAN USB Adapter supports an array of security features to protect the network data transmitted over the wireless network. It provides 64/128-bit WEP data encryption with WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access), TKIP (Temporal Key Integrity Protocol) keys and IEEE 802.1x user authentication. Furthermore, this adapter supports WPA2 that provides a stronger encryption mechanism through AES (Advanced Encryption Standard), which is a requirement for corporate and government users. Advanced Wireless Network Efficiency The WNC-0500USB MIMO XRTM Wireless LAN USB Adapter is an advanced and cost-effective network access adapter that is the best solution available to enhance wireless connections to a wireless network. A more efficient and high-speed wireless network is now feasible when the WNC-0500USB is deployed within a LevelOne MIMO wireless network.
